Small Group
Ministry
Trinity’s
mission is “to transform [people] into Christ-like disciple
makers.” We believe Small Group Bible Studies to be an essential
part of this mission. The process employed in small groups is
fourfold:
1. Bible Study – hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit through God’s
Word in order to more fully glorify Christ.
2. Prayer – uniting our hearts to seek the Father for more of
His eternal life and power in our daily lives.
3. Fellowship – learning to love as Jesus loves in the context
of a caring community.
4. Outreach – refining and deploying our unique talents to reach
the lost world around us.
We currently
have a number of small groups meeting in a variety of locations
around our geographic area. These groups are designed to meet the
needs of people of all ages and Christian experience. Groups are
established to provide biblical teaching and fellowship for married
couples, for adult men both married and single, and for women of all
ages. Additionally, new studies will be started throughout the
year. Both Trinity members and non-members alike are warmly invited
to participate.
We encourage you
to evaluate this important ministry for yourself. To do so, you may
wish to attend one or two meetings just to experience life in the
small group context. For more information, please contact Ron
Coddington.

Women’s Ministry
Women’s
Ministries at Trinity is a new and developing endeavor for our
ladies, birthed from a desire to grow closer to our Lord and each
other under the covering of the local church. This ministry has an
initial three pronged outreach encompassing the woman’s relationship
first to Christ, then to those of like faith, and finally to the
unsaved. We believe by building a strong foundation of faith in our
ladies through Bible study, discipleship, and Christian fellowship,
we can then be effective to reach out into our community to bring
the lost to faith in Jesus Christ.
We currently have
morning and evening weekly Bible studies focusing on developing a
deeper understanding of God’s Word. We have also instituted
quarterly teas that bring a teaching from the Bible and offer
opportunity to get to know one another in a relaxed setting.
We are very
excited about what the Lord is doing in our ladies’ lives! He is
providing us with numerous opportunities to grow and become active,
vibrant witnesses to His great power and love for all women
everywhere!

Wednesday
Night Prayer Meeting
gathers at 6:30
PM to seek the Lord and pray for the church and the needs of the
body.
Trinity’s Prayer Chain
is
used when an urgent prayer request for someone in the church needs
to be communicated to the church body. he prayer chain is
initiated by contacting the senior pastor, the worship pastor, the
church chairman, or the office manager. At that time, an e-mail
message is sent to those members for whom we have email addresses. Also, the
deaconesses are contacted, and they initiate phone calls
to the church membership for whom we don’t have email addresses.
Office
Ministry
Throughout the year
there are special projects (Christmas Concerts, annual report
production, Children’s Musical and Youth Concert preparation, Easter
materials preparation, etc.) when additional assistance is needed in
the church office. There are also ongoing, regularly occurring
projects (church bulletin production, copying projects, etc.). We
also need periodic phone coverage for times when the office manager
is engaged in a project or out of the office.
Tasks include
using the copying and folding equipment, punching holes and
preparing choir notebooks, computer entry, phone calls, bulletin
collating, mail sorting, mailings and other similar tasks. NO
experience is necessary and you will be trained to accomplish the task(s) at hand. The schedule is flexible, so that you can help out
occasionally or regularly, for a short time or for a whole project. Your efforts and time are always welcome and appreciated!
Library
Our library
contains almost 4,000 volumes. These books cover a wide range of
subject matter – from Bible information and commentaries,
encouragement for Christian living, family and youth guidance,
biographies, missions, teaching aids and fiction for all ages.
In addition to
books, we have a collection of over 320 videos for children and
adults, some audio cassettes and a growing collection of music CDs. One may also borrow magazines choosing from about 20 titles. Books
are loaned for four weeks, videos for one week and magazines and CDs
for two weeks.
There are no
specific library hours. When the librarian is not available,
borrowers may serve themselves to books, CDs and magazines. Instructions
for those procedures are posted above the desk. The
librarian or church office manager will assist with videos which are
in a secure cabinet.
We encourage
members and friends to browse and borrow, and to use our many resources. |
