Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry Exists to:

Make disciples within the youth groups.
Equip teens to be disciple makers, and to share the love of Christ in an ever-changing world.

Ignite Youth: Ignite is our 6^th-8^th grade youth group. This group meets on Thursday nights from 6:30pm-8:30pm throughout the school year.

Impact Youth: Impact is our 9^th-12^th grade youth group. This group meets on Sunday nights from 5pm-7pm throughout the school year.

Testimony Night

This is a special event on the first Sunday of each month where the teens enjoy dinner together and hear from other church members and teens about how the Lord is working in and through their lives. We share a family-style meal, which is often prepared by a parent or a group of volunteers and enjoy a time of worship together. For this monthly gathering, the two youth groups come together. Testimony nights will be from 5pm to 7pm. Director of Youth and Worship

Sam Taubl was born and raised in Derry, New Hampshire. He comes from a very musical family of 7 children. Sam started his education in music at age three when he picked up the cello. At age eight he was accepted into the Juilliard pre-college program in New York City. He continued his musical education at Juilliard until age 16. Sam lived in Port au Prince Haiti for a year after graduating from high school in 2011. He started a music program at an orphanage in the center of the city. From there Sam moved back to New Haven, CT. Sam was heavily involved with the worship ministry at Black Rock Church in Fairfield, CT for 5 years. Sam has also been on the board of directors for Sound Affect International, a non-profit music education organization, for 4 years. He has 5 years of previous experience working with and mentoring both children’s and youth groups and has mentored the youth here at Trinity since he was hired in 2017. In 2022, Sam continued to serve as the director of worship, as well as taking on oversight of the youth ministry here at Trinity. Sam feels blessed to be a part of this community and is excited to see what the Lord has in store for Trinity in the coming years.
