Children enrolled in the T/W/TH 3’s classes have an option of staying until 1:00 on days of attendance for an extra fee per afternoon, charged monthly. A child staying until 1:00 must bring his or her own lunch and drink to school, with an ice pack, as refrigeration is not provided. In order to plan for staffing, we ask parents to indicate interest on the Application form. When school begins, there will be weekly sign ups posted on the classroom doors. Parents must sign their child up one week in advance. This extended afternoon program is staffed according to interest.
Children enrolled in the 4- and 5-year-old classes stay until 1:00 as part of their regular program and must bring a lunch and drink to school with an ice pack. Children in these classes may stay until 3:00 on days of attendance for an extra fee per afternoon, charged monthly. * 5 year old- Kindergarten Transition Class Trinity Community Preschool offers a unique Kindergarten Transitional class (5’s class) for children who are old enough to attend Kindergarten who would benefit from an extra year in a small, nurturing 5 day a week classroom. If your child is just turning 5 this Summer or Fall, this might be what your are looking for. This class is taught by educated and experienced teachers in the areas of Early Childhood and Elementary education. We offer gentle, individual attention to our students while supporting intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth and development in order for students to be better prepared for a successful Kindergarten experience.
Age Requirements & Classes
Trinity Community Preschool serves children 1.5 years through 6 years of age. Children must be turning 2, 3, 4 or 5 by January 1st of the school year for other classes. All children enrolled the Pre-K 3, 4 or 5 year old classes must be fully potty trained. The Toddler 2’s class has a 4/1 to child/teacher ratio, the Pre-K 3 – 5 year old classes are allowed a 10/1 child/teacher ratio however, we typically have less than 10 students per one teacher.
